I’m Laura, an illustrator and visual storyteller drawn to the space where emotion, care, and communication meet.
Originally from Quito-Ecuador, and now based in Portugal, my work is shaped by a background in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Art Therapy and Artistic Education. This combination influences how I approach every project — balancing visual clarity with emotional depth, and aesthetics with intention.
I’m interested in creating images that feel honest and thoughtful. Work that can hold complexity without becoming heavy, and that communicates in a way that is both gentle and precise.
My practice moves across illustration and design, often blending the two. I enjoy working on projects where illustration plays a central role — from editorial and children’s books to branding, packaging, and visual systems — always with a focus on coherence, storytelling, and craft.
I’m especially drawn to collaborations that value sensitivity, meaning, and strong visual language.
